Prescriptions for generic Viagra in the UK and similar medications for erectile dysfunction (ED) have increased by around 35% over the past 12 months, according to official statistics.
The 1.7 million prescriptions made out in Britain in 2014 compares with 1.4 million the year before, and a million 10 years earlier, claim Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) figures. The information was in a report looking at prescriptions issued by doctors, community pharmacists and in GPs’ surgeries.
